Massage in Moonee Ponds

eWellbeing is an independent, owner-operated massage clinic in the heart of Moonee Ponds. We are not a chain or franchise — every appointment is with one of our experienced therapists, who together combine traditional Chinese massage, acupressure, hot stone therapy and Western remedial techniques in a single session, tailored to what your body actually needs.

Find us

Our clinic is at Shop 2/8 Eddy Street, Moonee Ponds, just off Puckle Street. It's a 4-minute walk from Moonee Ponds Station (Craigieburn line) and a short walk from the Mt Alexander Road tram stops. Free 2-hour street parking is available along Eddy Street and the surrounding side streets, plus free parking at Moonee Ponds Central a short walk away if you'd prefer to combine your treatment with a coffee or some shopping. We're open 7 days, with extended hours Thursday and Friday until 7pm.

Who we treat

Our regular clients come from across Melbourne's inner north-west — Moonee Ponds, Essendon, Ascot Vale, Flemington, Maribyrnong, Brunswick, Coburg and beyond. They are office workers with neck and shoulder tension from long hours at the desk, parents managing the load of small children, runners and gym-goers needing recovery work between sessions, people recovering from minor injuries or surgery, and locals who simply want a high-quality remedial massage in Moonee Ponds without driving into the CBD. We also see a steady stream of clients who come specifically for our migraine and tension-headache work.

What to expect at your first visit

When you book your first appointment, plan to arrive a few minutes early — we'll spend a short time understanding what brought you in, any pain or restriction you're working with, and any health considerations. From there your therapist designs a treatment that may blend acupressure on key meridians with deeper remedial work on the muscles that need it. Most first appointments are 60 minutes; if you have specific pain or restriction you want addressed thoroughly, 90 minutes gives more room. We provide a tax invoice you can use to claim through your private health insurance app.

Our approach

What sets eWellbeing apart from other Moonee Ponds massage clinics is the combination of modalities under one roof. Traditional Chinese massage and acupressure address the body's energy systems and underlying tension patterns; Western remedial massage targets the specific muscles, fascia and trigger points causing your symptoms today; hot stone work and reflexology extend the benefits between sessions. You don't have to choose — your therapist blends what your body responds to best, in whatever balance the day calls for.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Where exactly is eWellbeing in Moonee Ponds?
We're at Shop 2/8 Eddy Street, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039 — a 4-minute walk from Moonee Ponds Station, just off Puckle Street. Easy access from Essendon, Ascot Vale, Flemington, Brunswick and the wider Moonee Valley area.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes — there is free 2-hour street parking on Eddy Street and the surrounding side streets, plus free parking at Moonee Ponds Central a short walk away.
Do I need a doctor’s referral for remedial massage?
No. You can book directly with us — no referral required for any of our massage services, including remedial massage.
Can I claim my massage on private health insurance?
Most major Australian private health funds cover remedial massage when performed by a qualified therapist. We provide a tax invoice with the appropriate provider details after your appointment so you can claim through your fund's app or website.
Do you take walk-ins or do I need to book?
Bookings are strongly recommended — our therapists are usually fully booked, especially on weekends. You can book online any time, or call (03) 9317 5656. Walk-ins are taken when availability allows.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Most of our treatments — Chinese massage, acupressure and reflexology — are performed through clothing. For oil-based remedial massage you’ll undress to your comfort level under appropriate draping.
How long is a first appointment?
Most clients book a 60-minute session for their first visit; if you have specific pain you want addressed thoroughly, 90 minutes is a better choice. We arrive a few minutes early to talk through what brought you in and any health considerations.
What’s the difference between Chinese massage and remedial massage?
Chinese massage (Tui Na and acupressure) works along meridians and pressure points to release stagnation and improve energy flow — typically firmer and rhythmic, and most often performed through clothing. Remedial massage uses Western anatomical techniques (deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release) to address specific musculoskeletal issues — usually with oil and direct skin contact. We blend both based on what your body needs.
