For the Moonee Vale locals
A name you'll only hear from people who live here — and our Eddy Street clinic is your nearest.
Moonee Vale isn't really on the maps — it's a local name for the pocket sitting between Moonee Ponds and Maribyrnong, threading along the Moonee Ponds Creek and out toward Aberfeldie Park. You'll hear residents use it. You won't find it on Australia Post addresses. We treat plenty of people who think of themselves as Moonee Vale locals, and our clinic on Eddy Street in Moonee Ponds is the closest dedicated massage practice to that area.
If you walk the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail regularly — or run it, or cycle it — you already know the patterns it builds in your body. Calves, hip flexors, lower back. Combine that with desk work and the upper body load tells a different story. Our blended Traditional Chinese acupressure plus Western remedial approach is well suited to bodies that move in lots of ways but never quite undo themselves.
It's a quick trip across — usually under ten minutes by car, and the creek trail itself runs close enough that some clients walk in along it from Aberfeldie direction.

Why we work for Moonee Vale locals
We're the closest dedicated clinic
There's no massage practice inside the loose boundary people call Moonee Vale itself. We're literally the nearest — across the creek and a few minutes north. No suburb-hopping required.
Made for the creek trail crowd
Runners, walkers and cyclists on the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail are some of our most regular clients. We know the muscle groups that take a hammering — calves, glutes, hip flexors, lower back — and our acupressure plus remedial blend addresses both the immediate tightness and the underlying pattern.
Local-knowledge friendly
Tell us you're from Moonee Vale and we know exactly what you mean. No quizzing about postcodes, no awkward 'do you mean Maribyrnong or Moonee Ponds?'. We treat the area as one community even when the maps don't agree.
Finding us from the Moonee Vale area
By car: From most of the Moonee Vale pocket — around Aberfeldie Park, the creek trail south of Maribyrnong Road, or the streets backing onto Moonee Ponds Creek — we're a five-to-ten minute drive. Head toward Moonee Ponds Junction, then onto Hall Street and into Eddy.
On foot or bike: If you're on the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, you can ride or walk to us along the path most of the way. Exit the trail near Maribyrnong Road and it's a five-minute walk through the back streets to Eddy Street.
Parking: Free 2-hour street parking on Eddy Street or Hall Street is usually the easiest. Moonee Ponds Central has paid undercover parking, two minutes' walk, with the first hour free — useful for Saturdays when Puckle Street gets busy.

Common questions from Moonee Vale clients
Is Moonee Vale actually a suburb?
Not officially — it's a local-knowledge name for the pocket between Moonee Ponds and Maribyrnong, around the Moonee Ponds Creek and Aberfeldie Park. Australia Post will list addresses there as Moonee Ponds, Aberfeldie or Maribyrnong depending on the street. But locals use the name, so we use it too. Our clinic is the closest dedicated massage practice to that area.
I walk or run the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail — what helps?
We see a lot of creek-trail regulars. The typical pattern is tight calves, locked-up hip flexors, glutes that have stopped firing properly, and lower-back tension that creeps in after longer sessions. A 60-minute combined remedial and acupressure focused on legs and lower back works well — tell your therapist your usual distance and they'll prioritise accordingly.
How long is the trip from Moonee Vale?
Five to ten minutes by car for most of the area, depending on exactly where you start. From the Aberfeldie Park end you're looking at around eight minutes; from streets closer to Moonee Ponds Junction it's under five. The creek trail itself is a more pleasant option if you've got time and want to walk or ride in.
Do you do home visits in the Moonee Vale area?
No — we work only from the clinic. We get the appeal of in-home massage, but our acupressure technique relies on a properly set up table at the right height with the right bolstering, and the deep remedial pressure is hard to deliver on a portable. A short trip across to Eddy Street gets you a much better outcome.
