Flemington's nearby massage clinic

Three kilometres up Racecourse Road or eight stops on the 59 — remedial, acupressure and pregnancy massage.

Flemington has its own rhythm — racing weeks, hospitality shifts, the strange quiet between carnivals. Whether you're in a Federation cottage off Wellington Street, working at Flemington Hospital, or tied to the Racecourse calendar, the trip to our Moonee Ponds clinic is short: three kilometres up Racecourse Road, or the 59 tram from Mt Alexander Road.

Track work and stable work batter the body in ways most therapists don't anticipate. Hospitality shifts grind down the lower back and feet. Hospital staff carry it in necks and shoulders. We treat all three regularly. Our combined approach — Traditional Chinese acupressure layered with Western remedial — addresses both the chronic patterns and the specific muscle groups complaining loudest.

For Flemington residents specifically, evening and weekend slots tend to suit shift workers best. Online booking shows real-time availability across seven days, including pregnancy massage, hot stone, reflexology and cupping when you need something more than standard remedial.

What works for Flemington clients

We understand racing-industry bodies

Stable hands, trackwork riders and hospitality staff working the carnival circuit all carry tension in specific spots. We've treated enough Racecourse Road regulars to know where the work needs to happen — lower back, hips, wrists, calves — and we adjust pressure for the kind of grind that doesn't appear in a normal desk-worker's body.

Shift-friendly hours

Open seven days with later weekday slots and weekend availability. Hospitality and hospital workers from Flemington often book early afternoons before evening shifts, or post-shift recovery slots on quieter mornings. The diary is honest — what you see online is real.

An actual blended technique

Plenty of places list a service menu. We deliver remedial and Chinese acupressure in the same session as standard practice. For long-held tension that hasn't shifted with sports-style remedial alone, the pressure-point layer often unlocks it. Worth experiencing rather than reading about.

Coming from Flemington

By tram: Catch the 59 northbound from Mt Alexander Road — eight or nine stops to Moonee Ponds Junction, then a two-minute walk down Hall Street to Eddy Street. About 20 minutes door to door including the walk.

By car: Up Racecourse Road, left onto Mt Alexander Road, right onto Hall Street, left onto Eddy. Around eight minutes outside peak — slower on race days or during Spring Racing Carnival. Free 2-hour street parking is usually available on Eddy or Hall, and Moonee Ponds Central has paid undercover parking with the first hour free.

By train: If you're near Flemington Bridge or Newmarket station, hop north one stop to Moonee Ponds station — three minutes' walk from our door.

Common questions from Flemington clients

Best time to come from Flemington to avoid traffic?

Racecourse Road and Mt Alexander Road both choke up between 8-9am and 5-6:30pm on weekdays. Outside peak, the drive is under ten minutes. Mid-morning (10-11am) and early afternoon (1-3pm) are easiest. On race days during Spring Carnival, expect significant delays — the 59 tram becomes more reliable than driving.

Closest tram or train stop from Flemington?

The 59 tram is the most direct — board on Mt Alexander Road and ride north to Moonee Ponds Junction (around 12-15 minutes). By train, Newmarket and Flemington Bridge are on the Craigieburn line; Moonee Ponds station is one or two stops north, with our clinic a three-minute walk away on Eddy Street.

I work at the Racecourse — what do you recommend?

For trackwork or stable staff, we usually suggest a 60-minute remedial-and-acupressure session focused on lower back, hips and forearms. After carnival weeks, an extended whole-body acupressure works wonders for accumulated fatigue. Book a non-race-day morning if possible — easier parking and a quieter clinic.

Do you offer pregnancy massage for Flemington clients?

Yes, pregnancy massage is part of our regular menu. Our therapists are trained to position you safely (side-lying with bolsters) and use modified pressure suitable for the second and third trimesters. Many Flemington clients come for relief from lower-back and hip tightness through pregnancy. Book directly online — just select pregnancy massage when choosing the service.
